The room was fully-equipped, I had really really nice experience.
The hotel was nice, with marvellous location close to the ski hill. Location: the property was close enough to the center, the slopes and the mountains. Ate at La Stua, it's at a moderate distance from the venue. Enjoyed central heating and an electronic key card in the room.

The hotel's interior decoration was simply enchanting. With its cozy and warm atmosphere, it made me feel right at home. The communal room with the fireplace was a true haven, where I could relax and enjoy a cup of tea while reading a book. The general areas were impeccably maintained and accessible for senior people like myself. The free bus service, conveniently stopping right in front of the hotel, made it effortless for me to explore the town of Bormio and its surroundings.
Wished there were more options for activities specifically catered towards senior guests.

As vegetarian and vegan guests, we were delighted with the excellent selection of plant-based options for breakfast. the abundance of fresh fruits, delicious homemade jams, and a variety of vegan spreads made each morning a joy. the staff was very accommodating and provided helpful recommendations for vegetarian and vegan dining options in the area.
We felt so at ease during our stay that there was no reason to complain. the overall experience at the hostel exceeded our expectations, and we left feeling relaxed and satisfied with our time there.

The shared kitchen was sick, we made some epic meals and didn't have to worry about finding places to eat. The tour desk came in clutch, helped us score some awesome snowboarding gear and recommended the best slopes. Luggage storage was super handy, we could stash our stuff and bounce straight to the slopes.
Yo, we wished they had organized more lit parties and events for young peeps like us. Like, a DJ night or a sick dance-off would've been dope!

I got great value for my money at this hotel. The room had a perfect blend of traditional wooden furniture and modern touches. The staff treated me with kindness and helped me discover amazing local shops, including a fantastic dairy shop where I bought delicious cheeses.
Menu for breakfast could have had a wider variety of options.

We recently had the pleasure of staying at a delightful hotel in the mountains. Our experience at this hotel, Ostello Alpino, was truly exceptional. the hotel was immaculately clean and had a cozy and inviting atmosphere. the staff were incredibly friendly and always went above and beyond to assist us. the complimentary breakfast was delicious, with a good selection of food to choose from. We particularly enjoyed spending time in the communal room with the fireplace, a perfect spot to unwind after a day of exploring the beautiful surroundings. the free parking and storage for ski equipment were definitely convenient perks. Cons: Don't have any issues at all. 😉.

We were delighted with everything here. Room was immaculate and well set up with plenty of space for toiletries, etc. Nice, big towels. Lovely soap and shampoos. Comfy bed. Big surprise was the excellent food at the newly opened food service. We had a delicious lunch and dinner on the first day, and the breakfast was very good, including homemade bread and hard boiled eggs done to perfection. Excellent coffee. We did not have a car so especially appreciated being able to take the free bus up to the Bagni Vecchi. The bus stop from and to Tirano was also just a few steps away. Also not to be missed: the town of Bormio. We walked on the Sentiero Frodolfo to town and had a wonderful time exploring the shops and thought the museo was one of the best ever. Danielle was especially helpful in recommending that we visit the town itself, and we were so glad we did. The owners' combination of interior design expertise and architecture really shows in this practical and aesthetically pleasing hostel. We want to return!
Recommend this hostel.

First off, the shared kitchen was so clutch. We were able to cook up some bomb meals together and save some cash for all the crazy activities we did. The tour desk was a total game-changer too. They hooked us up with all the deets on the sickest hikes and mountain biking trails in the area. And man, the luggage storage was a lifesaver. We could stash our bags and hit the slopes without any worries. Total convenience!
Okay, so here's the deal. The only thing I wish was better is if they had a sick party scene for us young, party-going peeps.
